Dawn O’Neal grew up in southeastern Washington state and spent most of her life in California, building a 35-year career in accounting and real estate. As a licensed Broker/REALTOR® in both California and Washington, she became known for one thing above all else: making complicated information clear, digestible, and actionable for the people she worked with.
When AI began reshaping everyday life, Dawn saw the same problem she’d seen throughout her career — real people being left behind by language designed for insiders, not newcomers. So she did what she’s always done: she learned it thoroughly, then translated it for everyone else.
Her books are the result. Written with warmth, clarity, and zero tolerance for unnecessary jargon, they’re designed for the person who’s curious about AI but doesn’t know where to start — or the professional who knows they need to get up to speed but hasn’t found a guide that speaks their language.
Now settled in the Pacific Northwest with her husband Tom, Dawn focuses full-time on her writing. When she’s not working on her next book, you’ll find her travelling, reading, or enjoying the landscape of the Great Northwest.
